In the meantime, consider this: January has been a plank hold challenge between He Who Makes Brownies, myself, and Killa C. The idea is to accumulate as many minutes of plank in the month of January as possible, and the lowest number buys americanos. So far I’m somewhere around the 20 minute mark, in increments of 60 seconds or multiples of 60 seconds only (these are just my rules, everybody gets to play their own way. I found doing a million 10-second plank holds wasn’t challenging enough). Result so far? Bumped my head on the shower head this morning, had to actively stoop to use the medicine cabinet mirror. Definitely standing taller, and let me tell you after a year of slouching around with postpartum abs this is very exciting!
